TURBOCHARGER ID TAG

TURBOCHARGER IDENTIFICATION

Turbochargers have a data tag or ID plate, usually located in one of three places:

  • The cold side, also known as the compressor housing.
  • Around the bearing housing area, which is the center section.
  • Under the compressor housing on the seal plate.

Once the tag is found, write down any information you may find or take a picture. Your engine serial number and data ID information are critical for finding the correct replacement.
